Can't stay awake to enjoy heat

| I turn on the mattress pad to warm the bed, then climb in. I turn it down from 9 (high) to 5 immediately, because the warmth puts me almost instantly to sleep. If I forget to turn it down, I'll awaken in about 2 hours, having thrown off the covers and been chilled on one side and fried on the other. The two cats love the warming pad even more than I do. I like the house a little chilly (63-65F), and they start out in tight little balls on the end of the bed. As they warm up, they blossom like roses, and pretty soon are sprawled like middle-aged fat guys on a resort beach. They're just bags o' goo. My cats would give the product 10 stars on a scale of five. |

This heated mattress pad works as described based on my use for a couple of months. It washes and dries easily per the instructions. Having never used a heated mattress pad before, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. It seems to pull me into a deeper sleep faster and keeps me there longer. I feel a little more rested than I did before, sleeping the same amount of not-enough-hours of sleep. The heavy comforter I used before is too hot now to use on top now with the heated pad, so I will need to find a medium-weight blanket or coverlet.
As another reviewer noted, our cats act like they're drugged while sleeping on it. I think it pulls them into a deeper sleep, too.
The only small negative I can think of is that the hard-plastic socket, that the electric cord plugs into, is located on the top of the mattress pad towards the bottom edge, in the middle of the pad. If your feet travel all over the bed, you might notice this. Mine don't, so I don't find it to be a major problem. A better design would have located the socket along the side of the mattress pad instead of the top. |

| Buy this product with no reservations, so nice I brought more pads for family members who love it to. You can't fill the wires & the heat on low is all I ever need althrough I will admit I turn it on to 6 before I jump in to get that toasty start. |

| My House's Ferns is too small to fill up the whole house. So, it's like 63 degrees in the house, that's too cold. So i bought this and it warmed my bed right up.Its so amazing. It makes me go to sleep faster and its so warm. I turned it up to 10 but then after a while i turn it down to 5 and its still amazingly warm.I love it loads. It came fast in the male and it looks just like the pictures do. The only problem with it is when you wake up in the morning you just want to go back to bed because its so warm and cozy lol. |
Great buy one

I bought the double size single control Sunbeam Mattress warmer. I've slept on heated water beds, and under electric blankets. But this mattress warmer is the BEST!
I am staying in a motorhome, in the Southeast where the temperatures sometimes plummet to 18 degrees and other nights are 50-ish degrees. My bed was drafty and cold, as it is right over the outside storage area. I bought this mattress warmer because I thought WOW, it won't be in the way like a bulky blanket, when temperatures go back up. I can just put it in on the bed and leave it, turn it on when I need it and leave it off when I don't. Also, I don't have to worry about where to store it (like a big blanket) when it warms up again.
I normally have troubled sleep, but the first night I used this mattress warmer, it was heaven on earth! I turned it on high and puttered around doing other things. At first I kept checking the warmer, thinking it wasn't heating up much at all. Then when I grew tired about 30 minutes later, I said my prayers and slid into bed.
OH MY GOSH! I was delighted. It was VERY warm. I got all cozy, then I had to turn the heat down. I woke up in the night for mother nature, then slid back into bed and it put me right back to sleep. I woke up again at daybreak and played around with the controls. It was so cozy. I had a lightweight comforter and sheets over the top.
When it was time for me to get up, I just laid in bed thinking I would never get out again. It just felt so wonderful. I often wake up with creaky joints and have to do some painful exercises to try to lubricate the joints so I can get going. Not so this morning, I woke up ready to dance, it felt so good.
I keep looking at it longingly, thinking I must make up an excuse to go lay back down for a nap. Or maybe I need a laptop tray thingy so I can just stay in bed all day and do my writing.
I also kept my RV heater at about 60 all night, but on my bed, I was toasty and warm as if I was back in the tropics.
I bet if you got one for all the sleepers in your home, you could save a fortune on heating bills at night.
I am just smitten with it!
