This is very cuddly polyester outer fabric that just feels like rabbit. Heated by patented Safe & Warm® “non-hazardous” (UL’s terminology) low voltage technology. The ultra-thin wires inside are almost impossible to feel. This throw is easy to care for -- completely machine washable and dryable with no shrinkage. And for your safety, in addition to the low voltage (only 16 volts), this throw features an automatic over-temperature regulation in case it ever becomes bunched up. The infinitely variable control features: an easy-to-grasp-and-turn knob, a simple easy-to-push ON/OFF switch, no clicking noises, giant brightly lit controller numbers that automatically dim in a dark room and worry-free auto-off which turns itself off after 10 hours in case you forget. You’ll also appreciate the completely automatic pre-heat-and-hold feature – just push the ON button and the throw will warm on HI but as soon as it reaches your dial temperature setting, it will hold the heat there. These throws will save you heating costs: Turn your furnace down and still stay cozy warm.
