Soft Heat® Electric Heated Warming Mattress Pad. Incredible is the best word to describe this warming pad. This is one of the safest and plush warming pads you'll ever have the luxury of snuggling up on. The 233 thread-count 80% poly/20% cotton dobby stripe shell is incredibly soft and soothing but that's just one of the wonderful features of this pad. Constructed within the pad is the pantented Safe & Warm™ low-voltage technology. This low-voltage mattress pad includes a small power supply box that changes 120 volt AC home current into non-hazardous low voltage DC current (very similar to a battery) to provide warmth, protection and safety even if the pad becomes wet. Unlike other warming pads with their bulky wires, the heating wires in the Soft Heat pads are so small, they are virtually unnoticeable and also give more of an even heat, meaning-no hot or cold spots. The king size pad comes standard with two easy to read, easy to turn, non-slip computerized controllers to adjust the temperature of each side of the bed giving individual comfort and control. With an automatic pre-heat and hold feature you simply turn them on and the pad will warm up on HI until it reaches the temperature that you pre set your individual dial on and then adjusts itself to hold it there. For your safety and convienience it has an automatic shut off feature that will shut the pad off after 10 hours just in case you forget. It also comes standard with built in over-temperature protection for that extra bit of safety and piece of mind. A fitted skirt keeps it all in place to eliminate shifting or bunching and gives better sheet fit. Easy care feature means that it's machine washable and dryable and will not stretch, pill or shrink giving you many years of warm luxurious use. Guaranteed to fit up to 18" mattress depth. Not recommended for use with an electric adjustable bed, water bed or blowup air mattresses (Sleep Number Beds are OK)

We used it for the first time tent camping last weekend where the night time temps dipped into the mid 30's and I had to leave my side on setting 1 and my wife setting 4 (which to me seems boiling hot). It heated up suprisingly fast. Much faster than the heated Sunbeam mattress pad we had been using and just passed on to our kids.
We are only going to use it outdoors, so we never heard any noise from the transformers, but I did like not feeling any wires, so bonus points for the low voltage approach.
I was very amused however that each side had a separate transformer and outlet plug. It is not a big deal, but it does make it more combersome to have all that extra "stuff" to deal with inside a tent. I can see no reason why both controllers could not have come off one transformer.

Winters are not overly cold in the south but we too like to crawl into warm sheets at night. This Soft Heat Warming Mattress Pad is wonderful. It heats up quickly and provides a steady temperature according to your setting. The duel controls are a must, especially if there are two of you that prefer different warmth throughout the night. I manage on #3 while my husband cooks himself on #8! The only drawback I have with the pad is that it doesn't fit snugly onto my mattress even when pulled and tucked carefully. Therefore, we tend to get wrinkling . . .exactly what you don't want when there are wires involved. I have to be diligent with it daily to keep it smooth. It you have a pillow top mattress you'll probably be pleased at the pocket depth and I'm sure the pad will fit better. Speaking of wires, you won't feel these at all. Overall, I'm pleased with warming pad and wondered how we've lived this long without one.

I have Motor Neuron Disease (likely ALS) and i am not able to regulate my body temp. So when its cold, or even cool, I am freezing. My physical therapist suggested a mattress warmer. I looked at several and read the reviews and decided on this one. Wow, it is great. The heat coming from my mattress up into my body eases the muscle spasms and I can rest. Great product!

This is a must have item for anyone who has a cold bedroom or wants to turn the heat way down at night. Installation was a breeze- five minutes or less. Turn on a little while before you go to bed and you will never have to get into a bed with cold sheets again! Makes the bed sooooooooooo cozy and my husband has quit whining about how cold the bedroom is- yay!
Unbelievable

My husband and I purchased this matress pad for our new king bed. We had a heated matress pad for our queen bed and knew we wanted to purchase a heated matress pad for the king size bed. This matress pad is unbelievable, my mom even purchased one after I told her how wonderful it was. She absolutely loves her and says she couldn't live without it. This matress pad beats any previous heated matress pads that I have owned, which is three. You will not regret purchasing this matress pad.

I am so glad I ordered this product. I was on line to purchase an electric blanket when I found this mattress pad and read some of the reviews. The reviews changed my mind about the blanket and I ordered it. I am always chilled to the bone due to a medication I take and was tired of crawling in to a cold bed and shivering myself to sleep. Now I turn my mattress pad on high before I brush my teeth, wash my face, etc.......and then I crawl in to heaven!!!!!!!!! You have to try this to believe it.
